AX Group tapped Joinwell’s experience in crafting modern and functional workspaces to furnish key areas of its newly inaugurated business centre. This multi-million project is the latest milestone in the group’s 45-year history, and the building—which boasts 3,000 m2 of office space spread across two floors—was officially inaugurated in December 2020.

Joinwell was entrusted with manufacturing and installing office furniture and a variety of finishes that give the AX Business Centre its unique, sleek, and contemporary design. Our products ranged from purely aesthetic to highly functional pieces, many of which were custom-built by local craftsmen to the client’s exacting standards. This project was completed over several months in 2020, and its success hinged on the ability of Joinwell’s team to deliver results within tight deadlines while coordinating their efforts with the numerous parties involved in this ambitious undertaking.
Visitors to the Business Centre are welcomed at the oak reception counter with custom logo panelling manufactured in-house. Meanwhile, oak wall and ceiling cladding adorn the waiting area, which is set apart by minimalist room dividers made from grey-sprayed pipes. These wood features create a striking contrast to the marble laminate chosen for the corridors, which have been designed with integrated brass inserts to add visual interest and a touch of colour.
Joinwell also manufactured furniture for offices and other functional areas in the AX Business Centre, including meeting tables, desks, shelving, and storage spaces. Our work in this department probably culminates with the imposing desk in the chairman’s office, which stands in front of a bespoke wall cladding consisting of hundreds of diamond-cut shapes meticulously crafted from a variety of wood types.
